Event: Circus Limited Edition Sessions Location: 28 Sunflowers Photography Studio Family: The Chase Family The Limited Edition Sessions were circus themed this July, and the studio had a huge turn out!  Some of the newest members of the 28 Sunflowers family are these cute boys and their crafty mom!  Mom wanted to try out the studio, and said that the circus theme perfectly fit their life   The boys came dressed adorably for their session with adorable outfits from Gymboree .  When asked about her prep for the session Mom said, " I chose simple, solid colors because I knew the background would have a lot going on.  We shopped at Gymboree because I've always had good luck buying basic things there in the past, and I picked up some inexpensive shoes from Target.  I wanted them to coordinate, but not match.  They look so much alike anyway, that I like to find ways for them to stand out."  Mom also created these amazing name banners for ...

This year a couple of pretty awesome girls (thanks Julie and Kalah) came up with a great idea to promote local businesses while helping the Chamber of Commerce pay for the Summer Movies in the Park series.  28 Sunflowers has been having a HUGE blast with our monthly photo booths!  The next Wine Walk is August 9th 2014.  Come on out, enjoy a little wine and support the local businesses here in Boulder City!   Make sure to some see us for the next two wine walks!  Support your local businesses and enjoy our amazing town. On November 9th I had the honor of shooting the 3rd Annual MacDonald Highlands 5k benefiting the NSPCA for the family of Brooklyn Mae Mohler . Friends and family were there to turn the race pink in her memory, and they succeeded by leaps and bounds.  It was Brookynn's dream to "help all of those without a voice".  Through her family's help, Brookylnn's dream helped raise $5,498 for the NSPCA!   " Brooklynn was a special girl. I love my Canon camera bag .  It has served me well for over 4 years, but time has come to where I just needed something more.  A little different.  With a ton of style.......  What is a girl to do?  Kelly Moore to the rescue! I shoot quite a bit in Las Vegas at the casinos, like The Cosmopolitan .   I am often wanting a fabulous camera bag that, well, doesn't LOOK like a camera bag.  There is nothing I dislike more than drawing attention to myself, and letting people know that I am carrying camera gear around with me.  Quite frankly, it is a simple security measure for me.  Inconspicuous = a little safer, in my mind.   What does this bag say to you?   Well, it CLEARLY told my client last week that I was her photographer that was waiting for her.  She said she was sure it was me by my bag.  Now, what does THIS bag say to you? I am so blessed to be able to shoot often at The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas !  At the beginning of 2012 I was hired for a 10 year anniversary shoot for the most fun couple!  Erika and Fergal came in from San Francisco (where Erika is  THE BEST real estate agent by the way) just to spend some time with ME.....ok, and to celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary in fabulous Las Vegas!    Their suite at The Cosmopolitan was beautiful, and fun.  Just like these two! And, that is where we spent the majority of the afternoon shooting.  I get to meet a lot of wonderful people when I am out shooting, and these two love birds were no exception.  They made me feel like I was part of their celebration, and so much at ease.     In closing, I want to thank Erika and Fergal for spending the day with me, and allowing me to be a part of their celebration.  I hope their next 10 years are even...
