My Weekend~!

Image
I had an amazingly great time this weekend.  Shopping for studio furniture, lunch with friends, time with family, and shooting away!  Here is a little share: xoxo

Still here!

Image
I know I keep saying it, but I am still here.  I have been so busy with work...  Which is good. But, I want to share something with you.... Last night I was working and reviewing some older photos, and came across these shots that I had taken a while back.  The part that I really want to share with you is, I almost deleted ALL of these out of frustration.  I was trying to shoot my family, and no one was cooperating.  Then when I downloaded these, there were specks from a TON of sensor dust on my 20d.  I hated them.  HATED THEM.  I just walked away, and really don't know why they weren't deleted.  But, I was taken aback last night when I saw them.  I fell in love.  Maybe it was because my irritation with the day has been long forgotten.  Maybe it is because I live in one of the most beautiful places on the planet.   Whatever the reason, I am glad I found them.   Enjoy!  xoxo

My (Still) Unwilling Model.....

Image
Some studio work last night....  Dramatic flash.  I got about 5 minutes of cooperation. That's it. I need to find some new victims......er, I mean models.  xoxo

My Passion...

Image
Black and White. I love it, like LOOOOOVE it.  Always have.  I love the drama, and the way a black and white photo speaks to me.  When I took photography in school we processed in black and white, and I suppose that is where I really fell in love with it. So, in finding my "style" (which is ever evolving by the way), I am now trying to process all of my photos with one in color and one in black and white.  And wouldn't you know it, my clients are loving it too...   There is just something about a clean black and white photo that is timeless..... xoxo

A Journey...
