Event: Circus Limited Edition Sessions Location: 28 Sunflowers Photography Studio Family: The Chase Family The Limited Edition Sessions were circus themed this July, and the studio had a huge turn out!  Some of the newest members of the 28 Sunflowers family are these cute boys and their crafty mom!  Mom wanted to try out the studio, and said that the circus theme perfectly fit their life   The boys came dressed adorably for their session with adorable outfits from Gymboree .  When asked about her prep for the session Mom said, " I chose simple, solid colors because I knew the background would have a lot going on.  We shopped at Gymboree because I've always had good luck buying basic things there in the past, and I picked up some inexpensive shoes from Target.  I wanted them to coordinate, but not match.  They look so much alike anyway, that I like to find ways for them to stand out."  Mom also created these amazing name banners for ...

28 Sunflowers Photography offers two kinds of sessions for documenting this unique moment in your child's life. Choose between a lifestyle portrait session or a posed session based on your desired outcome from our time together. We are thrilled to work with you in creating one-of-a-kind imagery that will commemorate this amazing family event. Read on to learn more!      What is a posed session? Posed sessions may take a bit more time and elbow grease than lifestyle, but it's well worth the work! With a few props and cooperation from baby, posed sessions result in images that will make the whole family, friends, and Facebook buds go Ga-Ga. Cute hats, baskets, and blankets surround your little one while we capture Bub slumbering in doll-like poses on comfy pillows. A typical posed session may last anywhere from 1 to 3 hours, and generally requires cooperation from mom and dad. One storm, one sprained ankle, and two rescheduled dates later we finally were able to create this family's Christmas portraits.  They say third time is a charm, and we had the most beautiful January day that was possible to prove it.  I am so thankful to have the opportunity to meet this beautiful family, and to have spent time creating heirlooms for their family to cherish for generations.  Mom picked up her portrait order from the studio today, and had the kindest words to say about the session, her images, and the experience she and her family had.   Enjoy this sampling from the session we has in Nelson, NV | Techatticup Mine | Eldorado Canyon .  And a huge thank you to the wonderful owners of Eldorado Canyon, they are a super nice family who graciously allow us to use their amazing property.   Did I mention that mom had an incredible sense of style?   XOXO~ Pamela
