3.5" Floppy Anyone? | Boulder City Photographer 28 Sunflowers

Technology is our friend, and it makes our lives so much easier.  It is also ever changing and evolving.  Do you remember when cassette tapes were all the rage?  How about that awesomely portable and durable 3.5" floppy?  Anyone?  Do you still have any of those?  Are they hanging out with your VHS tapes collecting dust?  Where are our CDs and DVDs going to be in a few years?  Are we still going to use flash drives?

What is one thing that has stood the test of time when you think about photos?  PRINTS!!!!

I am positive you have a photo album (or two, or twenty) filled with your fondest memories.  Yes?

Now.  Which is easier to use with today's changes in technology?  Your photo album, hands down.  It is timeless, and will hopefully last for many generations to come.

I know you all are thinking that I have absolutely lost my mind (and you technically may be right), but bear with me....   I have a surprise for you.  With the New Year, came some new changes over here at 28 Sunflowers Photography.  This is one that I am so so so excited about.  Our print credit with your portrait session has been replaced with a stunning bound proof book of your entire session....  How amazing is that?

Why the change?  Because, in my opinion nothing will ever replace archival prints.  You can hold them and look at them at any time.  No computer needed.  Ever.  You invest your money and time with me to capture a cache of memories for you, and where do the majority of them end up?  If you purchased a CD of your session, likely in a drawer.  Forgotten about, forever.  I want you to have those memories, in your hand.  Ready to pull out and show at a moment's notice.

Now, get ready and schedule your session so you can get one of these awesome bound proof books for your home today!  They also make amazing gifts for grandparents....

xoxo
