Five Tips On How To Relax In Front of the Camera | Boulder City Glamour Photographer

You've had your initial consultation and have booked your session. You were SO excited....but now the big day is here and you're feeling a little nervous.

Like really nervous.

Of course I can tell you until I am blue in the face not to worry, and *promise* that I know what I am doing, but sometimes that just doesn't cut it.

Here are five simple tips on how to relax in front of the camera...

1.     Play Music – Bring your favorite music to play during your session. This will help you to calm down and feel comfortable.

2.     Deep Breathing – Practice deep breathing. This is a proven relaxation method. Breathe in deeply through your nose and exhale through your nose. Repeat until you feel better.

3.     Take a Break – If you’re feeling overwhelmed, we can take a break from shooting and talk and relax before resuming the session.

4.     Drink – NO, not to get drunk, but just enough to help you cut loose. A few sips of your favorite wine might just do the trick...

5.     Laugh It Off – If you’re feeling silly in front of the camera, laugh at yourself. Laughter is a great relaxation technique. It will help you loosen up.

Of course, you have absolutely nothing to worry about. You're in the best hands, and we are going to have a great time.

Let's create something magical together....

"My passion is showing women how beautiful they truly are....
the way they are today
how gorgeous they look at this very moment
letting them see....what I see
PERFECTION." -Pamela Leon | Photographer
